Rumtek Monastery
One of Sikkim's most important Buddhist centres. A place of extraordinary calm, colour, and cultural depth.
Tsomgo Lake
A sacred glacial lake at 3,780 meters - its still waters mirror the Himalayan peaks above. Optional day for seniors with altitude concerns.
Local Sikkimese Cuisine
Steamed momos, thukpa, and local mountain specialties - warm, light, and perfectly suited to senior palates throughout the trip.
Day 3 Altitude Note: Tsomgo Lake sits at 3,780 meters above sea level. This day is fully optional – seniors with heart, lung, or blood pressure concerns can remain at a lower altitude in Gangtok town. Our trip managers will advise each member individually before the day. The lake can also be enjoyed from the vehicle.
