Q1. Is it difficult to become a Member of Tribeca Eldercare?

Not at all. You can fill out the Enquiry Forms on the Website. In addition, there are numbers to call and we will send one of our representatives to visit your home and meet you. That way, you will be able to explain your needs in detail and the facts about your medical situation will also be clear to us.

Q2. How will I know which of Tribeca’s four Senior Plans will suit me?

That is not difficult. It will depend on what you wish to spend. The type of care services which we offer is linked to the Cost of the Plan. If you read carefully, we have explained what services are provided under each of our Plans – Aador, Jotno, Suraksha and 24-Ghonta. Call us and our representative will meet you to explain everything in person.

Q3. Can you handle emergencies? My son lives in the USA and it makes me nervous to think about a medical crisis.

Of course. Tribeca has handled many emergency situations for the seniors in our care. Neither you nor your son needs to feel nervous. In case there is an emergency, we will take you to hospital, facilitate the admission process, handle the documentation and insurance. We will be with you throughout the hospitalization, keep your son updated with your progress – then, get you home safely, when you are well.

Q4. My friend is not happy with her nurse from an Agency. Can you assure me that Tribeca nurses will not be troublesome?

Our service providers – nurses, home help, Care-Givers – are all trained by Tribeca. We supervise and monitor them constantly. So, we can assure you that they are motivated and empathetic workers, whether it is for household management or nursing duties. If by chance, someone does not do his or her job properly, or is absent without notice or you are unhappy with them for any reason – we take action immediately. That person will be changed at once.

Q5. Once I am a Member, can I call you in the middle of the night?

Yes, of course. Night or day – we have a coordinated team at your service. From the person working in your home – to the supervisors and managers, all the way to the senior-most level – your happiness, health and safety are our responsibility, at all times.

Q6. What kind of payment do you accept to sign up for Membership?

Whatever mode of payment is convenient for you. Cheque, UPI, Bank Transfers, Credit Cards. We also accept payment from overseas in foreign currencies.

Q7. My husband requires twice-weekly dialysis. Can you handle that?

Tribeca manages many seniors with chronic health problems – from dialysis to chemotherapy sessions. We will take your husband to the hospital and provide assistance every step of the way.

Q8. After my father passed away, my mother has lost confidence to go out of the house, withdraw money from the bank or perform any chores. How can you help?

We will do the errands she needs to get done. But we will do more!! We will give her the confidence to go out again with a Care-Giver by her side. We will also provide regular companionship so that she does not feel alone and isolated. In time, we will introduce her to Club Tribeca – where seniors have fun and make friends. Then she will look forward to going out once again.

Q9. Do you handle Seniors who need Psychological help or those with Parkinson’s or Dementia?

Yes, we take care of many seniors who suffer from some kind of cognitive decline and mental degenerative conditions. We connect with their doctors and provide specialised nursing care. We assure every kind of support which is necessary to maintain their physical health and emotional well-being.

Q10. My parents just cannot manage their home any more. Do you help with registration into an Old Age Home?

Tribeca is associated with some of the most reputed Senior Living Facilities in Kolkata, where we provide specialised care services for their residents. So, we will assess your parents’ needs and facilitate the registration process with any one of these places. We will also introduce them to some of the current residents so that they get a feel of the place and the ambience. Plus, we take care of the paperwork, financials and the actual move.
